Rewards Cards

The Lancaster County Downtown Consortium has made Downtown Shopping & Dining even more Rewarding!  In addition to supporting your local downtown businesses and keeping your dollars in the communities where you live, work, and play - now by showing your OnlyDowntown.org Rewards Card, you can enjoy extra perks. 

This program is not currently active, as the cards were valid to May 31st 2010. Cards were on sale for only $10 each.  Proceeds benefited the downtown where it was purchased and the Lancaster County Downtown Consortium. Specials could change and new business participants were added throughout the year.  An up to date list of specials per downtown was kept below, which totaled over 50 specials!  Regardless of which downtown the card was purchased, the card was good at all participating downtown businesses listed. 

Think Local First - A Partnership with SSBN

The Lancaster County Downtown Consortium partnered with the Susquehanna Sustainable Business Network in 2009 to encourage residents to visit locally-owned, independent stores in the downtowns of Lancaster County.  Using a passport, participants would visit shops and look for a stuffed lumpkin.  After finding the lumpkin, the store would stamp their passport.  Participants were encouraged to shop, as many businesses offered special deals to participants.  After getting their passports stamped with the required number of stamps, it could be turned in to be in the running for prizes which were donated by the participating businesses.  Over 75 businesses participated.
